The fifth season of the Quebec Snowkite Cup began last weekend on Lake Champlain in Montérégie, Canada. Even if the forecast winds were rather pessimistic for the weekend, still 30 riders registered who appeared Saturday morning on the beautiful site of Venice in Quebec, Canada to compete for the first time this winter in the Quebec Snowkite Championships.
With a 2nd, 3rd and 4th place during the 1st weekend of the Quebec Kite Cup , FLYSURFER riders dominated the rankings.
The races were held in winds southeast and is 5 to 8 knots on Saturday and westbound varying from 6 to 8 knots and eventually falled down to 14pm Sunday. Final results where 1st place for Simon Gill from Valleyfield which collects the gold, fighting the first place with Norman McGuire from Montreal (FLYSURFER) and Dominique Robichaud from Amqui (FLYSURFER) with the bronze medal.Well done guys!
