The Mondial du Vent will be celebrating its 17th Birthday, which makes it the longest going kiteboarding competition in the world as well as the biggest kiteboarding event in France. This will be the 6th year the Mondial du vent is part of the PKRA world tour, and over the last 5 years with its extremely strong winds it has proven to be one of the most challenging events in the tour for all the riders. This year it won’t be any different at Port Lecuate, and will promise to be another great freestyle show for the spectators. 2012 Event Winner Alex Pastor from Spain, as well as 4 times event winner Gisela Pulido from Spain will get a chance to defend their title against the current World Champions Youri Zoon from the Netherlands and Karolina Winkowska from Poland.
