Knock Out: The Perfect Place to Stay
While in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, the SBC Kiteboard Test Team stayed in the house, Knock Out. Located on the Pamlico Sound in Avon next to the infamous SBC Slick, this 2,800 square-foot home boasts six bedrooms, a gas BBQ, gas stove, HD satellite TV (so much better than OBX cable), high-speed Internet, hot tub and gear storage area.
The TV is really HD as it's hooked up to Satelite not a crackling cable signal! Perfect for catching the World Series in the Fall, or the NHL playoffs in the spring!
The multi-burner propane stove is perfect for cooking big dinners for a a hungry test team.
Saying goodnight to another perfect day of kiteboarding in the OBX. Beer O'clock!
Knock Out is a really awesome house. If you are a guest, please take good care of her. The house is pretty special! Interested in renting Knock Out? Contact Hatteras Realty and tell them SBC Kiteboard magazine sent you! —John Bryja, Editor
Note to kiteboarders, the launch here can be on the advanced side as the setup area is narrow. A large sandy bay and a friend to help launch make getting out easier. Riding here is best on a SW to NW wind. Some of the best flat water slick action in the OBX is right here!
